Overwhelming

Lately, I have been reading this series called The Door Within which is practically Genesis through Revelation in a fantasy version. The king in the book represented God and his love expressed in the book was just too great and overwhelming. This reminded me of my king, God, and how great and amazing his love is for me. Every time I hear a song about how great his love is for me, I just break out in tears, touched by his grace, overwhelmed by the amount of love he had for me to even die on the cross for me while I am undeserving of his love. He loved us too greatly that he had to give us a second chance. I greatly thank him for that and for the loving parents he gave me. Also lately, every time I got angry or did something sinful, I reminded myself it was the devil playing with my mind and shooed him away silently, reminding myself that that was not what the Lord wanted me to do. I have also found myself talking to my Lord at times, seeking his counsel and praising him. HE IS EVERLASTING, HIS KINDNESS LAST A LIFETIME, HE OFFERS PEACE WHEN TROUBLED, REST WHEN RESTLESS, MERCIFUL, AND ALL-LOVING.

Finding Jesus in Every Book of the Bible

Last week, I was at a youth conference and a small group of girls had a performance and I thought it was really cool so I asked for the script and I want to share it with you:


In Genesis, Jesus Christ is the seed of the Woman.
 In Exodus, He is the Passover Lamb.
 In Leviticus, He is our High priest.
 In Numbers, He is the Pillar of Cloud by Day, and the Pillar of Fire by Night.
 In Deuteronomy, He is the Prophet like unto Moses.
 In Joshua, He is the Captain of our Salvation.
 In Judges, He is our Judge and Lawgiver.
 In Ruth, He is our Kinsman Redeemer.
 In 1&2 Samuel, He is our Trusted Prophet.
 In Kings & Chronicles, He is our Reigning King.
 In Ezra & Nehemiah, He is the Rebuilder of the broken down walls of the Human Life.
 In Esther, He is our Mordecai.
 In Job, He is our Ever-Living Redeemer.

 In Song of Solomon, He is our Loving Bridegroom.
 In Isaiah, He is the Prince of Peace.

 In Ezekiel, He is the Wonderful Four-Faced Man.
 In Daniel, He is the Fourth Man in Life's Fiery Furnace.
 In Hosea, He is the Faithful Husband Forever Married to the Backslider.
 In Joel, He is the Baptizer with the Holy Ghost and Fire.
 In Amos, He is our Burden-Bearer.
 In Obadiah, He is Mighty to Save.
 In Jonah, He is our great Foreign Missionary.   
 In Micah, He is the Messenger with Beautiful Feet.     
 In Nahum, He is the Avenger of Gods Elect. 
 In Habakkuk, He is God's Evangelist crying Revive Thy works in the Midst of the Years.
 In Zephaniah, He is our Savior.
 In Haggai, He is the Restorer of God's Lost Heritage.
 In Zechariah, He is the Fountain opened up in the House of David for Sin and Uncleanliness.
 In Malachi, He is the Son of Righteousness Rising up with Healing in His Wings.
 In Matthew, He is the King of the Jews.
 In Mark, He is the Servant.
 In Luke, He is the Son of Man, Feeling what you Feel.
 In John, He is the Son of God.
 In Acts, He is the Savior of the World.
 In Romans, He is the Righteousness of God. 
 In 1 Corinthians, He is the Rock of Israel.
 In 2 Corinthians, He is the Triumphant One giving Victory.
 In Galatians, He is your Liberty, He set you Free.
 In Ephesians, He is the Head of the Church.
 In Philippians, He is your Joy.
 In Colossians, He is your Completeness. 
 In 1&2 Thessalonians, He is your Hope.
 In 1 Timothy, He is your Faith.
 In 2 Timothy, He is your Stability.
 In Titus, He is Truth.
 In Philemon, He is your Benefactor.
 In Hebrews, He is your Perfection.
 In James, He is the Power behind your Faith.
 In 1 Peter, He is your Example.
 In 2 Peter, He is your Purity.
 In 1 John, He is your Life.
 In 2 John, He is your Pattern.
 In 3 John, He is your Motivation.
 In Jude, He is the Foundation of your Faith.
 In Revelation, He is your Coming King.

 He is the First and the Last, The Beginning and the End, He is the Keeper of Creation and the Creator of All, He is the Architect of the Universe and the Manager of All Time.                                                           
 He Always was, He Always is and He Always will be, Unmoved, Unchanged, Undefeated and  Never Undone.  
 He was Bruised and Brought Healing, He was Pierced and Eased Pain, He was Persecuted and  Brought Freedom, He was Dead and Brought Life, He is Wisdom and Brings Power, He Reigns and Brings Peace. 
 The World can't Understand Him, The Armies can't Defeat Him, The Schools can't Expel Him, and the Leaders can't Ignore Him.
 Herod couldn't Kill Him, The Pharisees couldn't Confuse Him, and the People couldn't hold Him.
 Nero couldn't Crush Him, Hitler couldn't Silence Him, the New Age can't Replace Him and Oprah can't Explain Him Away.
 He is Life, Love, Longevity and More,He is Goodness, Kindness, Gentleness and God, He is Holy, Righteous, Mighty, Powerful and Pure.
 His ways are Right, His Word is Eternal, His Will is Unchanging and His Mind is on Me.
 He is My Redeemer, He is My Savior, He is My God.      
 He is My Peace, He is My Joy, He is My Comfort.
 He is My Lord and He Rules My Life.

The Decision (a video starring me and my church)

This is a video that a group of teens from my church put together and I am Natalie in this one. We didn’t have a lot to work with, we had just written the script 20 minutes before we filmed it including the practise runs. This video is about standing up for your faith in any situation. It shows 2 different situations in which a girl is challenged about her faith at school in order to hangout with the popular group and a man, in a 3rd world country is being killed for his faith.

This whole skit creating thing was inspired so that we can evangelize at such a young age through acting. We hope to continue with this but we need proper equipment for that.

What is true beauty?

I was talking to my friend a while ago and we were talking about beauty. She was talking about how she doesn't think that she's that beautiful. Personally, I think she's extremely beautiful, but she didn't seem convinced. Well maybe that is because I view beauty in a different way than what she was imposing. I told her that even if she wasn't that beautiful through appearance, she was beautiful from the heart. Like I know that I am not the most beautiful girl in the world but I get a lot of comments on my beauty, it is because I have a beautiful heart. If you have a gentle, kind, loving, and just joyful heart, people will begin to see you as beautiful. You won't only be beautiful to men, but you will be viewed as beautiful to woman also and you will find favour in both genders' eyes. You may be really pretty by appearance but have a terrible attitude and character. You could be selfish, snobby, commanding, and just rude and although you are beautiful on the outside, that beauty will be lost from you when people see you. If you cannot bring out the beauty from the outside then if you work on your inward beauty, it will surely overcome and people will see you as beautiful. Of course when I say people, I mean real people who will love you always and will never let you down or leave your side in a terrible situation. The world now, is corrupted and evil, people don't care about the inward beauty anymore. So you might ask, then why did I waste a whole post talking about this? Well because you do not want to attract those who only love your body and will get over you when they see someone better than you, you want to attract those who not only look at outward beauty but mainly focus on the inward beauty. Ladies, you want to attract the right man of God, a right man of God will not care about your outward beauty as much as your inward beauty. He wants to see the beautiful heart that God has given you. I believe that when the Bible mentioned that Eve was beautiful, that it wasn't talking about our term of "beautiful" now, I believe it was talking about her heart. That her beauty described her heart.




Beyond Our Galaxy (God of Wonders)

"God of wonders beyond our galaxy...
The universe declares your majesty..."

I was singing this song in a conference that I was just at and those two verses just struck me. God of wonders beyond our galaxy. He is BEYOND our galaxy, a God that is so far from us, wants to be so close to us and even wants us! Our sin makes us unbearable to God, but he didn't want us to be separated, he wanted to have an intimate relationship with us! Our own creator wants to know us and be in a relationship with us. My creator wants a relationship with me! I just want to rejoice at that news. Sometimes, as a girl, I want to feel loved by someone, I want to be loveable, but I am already deeply loved by my own creator, the creator of the world, universe, galaxy, and all wonders in it! A God beyond our galaxy wants me, even if no one in the world wants me, he would. And he wants you too. Even if you don't feel deserving, even if you think that you're not good enough even if you don't believe in him, he wanted you and loved you before you came on the earth, he died for you before you lived, he was working on trying to get you before your parents knew you were going be alive. Sometimes we are the ones trying to get the other person, whether male or female, we like a person and try to get them to like us back. God is like that, he doesn't like you, he loves you, he's trying to get you're attention and he's trying to get you to understand that he wants to have a relationship with you. He will persist in trying until he gets you. My relationship with the God of the universe is the best thing I had ever experienced and I badly want you to experience it too, but I do not want to pressure you in doing so, I want you to choose this relationship yourself. God bless, and hopefully I will get to see you in Heaven one day.
